Worst. Run. Ever.

Today I was feeling pretty good and thinking I would have a good run. That lasted all of about 3/4 mile. The heat and humidity were as high as I can remember and I ran out of gas f-a-s-t!! The ONLY good thing was I finished without walking. I kept telling myself this was a positive because it's practice for gutting it out on race day. That may be true, but it didn't make it any more fun. Baby steps.

  1. Your workout in the humidity probably wouldn't have been so bad if you weren't wearing cut off jeans and a flannel shirt. When are you going to make it to CO for your high altitude training? Now that we moved to Lakewood, we live in Jefferson County, right at the base of the mountains. I am serious! Even if the high elevation won't be enough of a challenge, you can put Jasper in his Kelty baby backpack, run with the Bob stroller, or put him in the Chariot bike carrier. http://www.co.jefferson.co.us/openspace/openspace_T56_R108.htm
